Infant See is a program set up that gives free eye exams to children under 1. This exam basically just checks to make sure there's nothing major wrong with a child's eyesight that can be fixed before it becomes a problem or it's too late. Kaden eyes are great. He did get them dilated when we were at the appointment though, and the amount they use on a baby lasts 24 hours. It was a beautiful day that day and there was no way I was staying inside all day! Here's Kaden in his sun-proofing outfit! He really didn't want to leave the sunglasses on!
Ouch! Notice the red mark below Kaden's left eye? His first ouch! I was moving his little chair and apparently he had crawled right next to me. The edge of the chair hit his face. I felt terrible, but he was fine! What a tough baby!
Grandpa Paul and Grandma Marge came to visit Kaden last week. They had a great time seeing what a busy and inquisitive great-grandson they have! Kaden especially liked their glasses, as he wouldn't leave them on their faces!
Grandma Marge and Kaden.
Grandma Marge helped out by giving Kaden some yogurt. Kaden decided he was done and kept turning his head away, but Grandma Marge was determined to get those last few bites in. Kaden had other plans and grabbed the spoon just as it was about to enter his mouth. Yogurt flew everywhere, including on Grandma's glasses, shirt, hair, etc.!!
We all miss you and loved having you here!
Kaden found my water bottle and apparently decided he was thirsty!
His box tunnel and a balloon. We get free balloons at the grocery store and Kaden loves them. He, of course, has to have the string in his mouth!
Kaden's getting good at feeding himself, although he is a bit messy sometimes. He's usually the messiest at night because he's so tired and constantly rubs his eyes, thus rubbing food all over his face.
Like this...
He often sits in his high chair with his feet crossed like this. I think it's adorable!
