I love my dog!

I absolutely adore my dog. I look for her all the time and love to be around her. I smile at her, laugh at her, and pull her hair. She seems to like me just as much. I think it's really funny to watch her swim and catch the frisbee. Lately I've been saying "dawg". Here are some pictures of me and my favorite animal!

Peeking around her to see the TV. Look, no hands!

Yay! No more flash!

My parents got a new camera last week and now they don't have to use the flash every time they take my picture! This makes me super happy because I was getting tired of being blinded by the light. So much that I wouldn't even look at the camera anymore. You will notice that I started looking more at the camera and will hopefully smile at the camera instead of look at it in fear!! Yay for no more flash!!

Standing by my Drop and Roll Dinosaur. A couple times it has tipped over while I've been standing on it, but that hasn't scared me away. I'm wicked tough like that!

Since Aunt Amber is too far away to teach me how to play soccer, Mommy decided to teach me. I love this game! I guess those 9 months of kicking really taught me something.
Playing in the swings.

Just some close up face shots of me. I love no flash and the new camera can get really close to me like this!! Aren't I a cutie?!?!

Cheese!

Marie and I have so much fun playing together.

I was trying to get to a ball and decided the shortest route would be crawling over Marie's legs.
We were playing with bubbles and I realized that I was very tired.

Getting Bigger

Here are a few recent videos of me showing you that I'm not much of a baby anymore and am nearing toddlerhood! Since I couldn't quite figure out the standard method of crawling, I made my own way! I also have figured out how to say dada and mama (pretty much on the same day) but I still don't know what they mean!

Awkward Crawler but mobile nonetheless..

Kaden says dada in his high pitched morning voice.

Kaden says mama and does weird things with his mouth.

Chimney Rock

On our way home from Tennessee, we stopped by Chimney Rock. We hiked all the way up to Chimney Rock and then kept going until we reached the top of a 404' waterfall. It was so nice outside and we all liked it a lot!! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Tennessee trip

After Christmas we decided to meet Grandma Sherri, Aunt Nicole, Uncle Mike, and Kelsey in Knoxville, TN. We left after I was ready for bed so I could sleep most of the way. We had a really fun time and I liked getting to play with everyone. Here are some pictures from our trip.

I did sleep most of the way, but when I woke up, Mommy sat in the backseat next to me to keep me company and entertain me while Daddy drove the whole way.

Talbot got to come, too!!

Playing in my pack n play while Mommy and Daddy unpacked stuff. This was taken about 1 in the morning!! Who needs to sleep, really.

Playing on the motel bed in my super cute jammies that I got from the secret santa (see other posts) for Christmas and playing with the hammer that Grandpa Paul and Grandma Marge got me for Christmas. I am one lucky boy!

Playing with Uncle Mike and Aunt Nicole in the motel room.Uncle Mike let me wear his hat! I think it's still a little big.

While in Knoxville, we visited the location of the 1982 World's Fair Park and the Sunsphere (the gold ball in the background). It was really nice outside and we had a lot of fun!
We went into the Sunsphere and there were these glass domes explaining different parts of the sunsphere/city. I thought it was fun to pound on them.

Mommy, Daddy, and I in the sunsphere.

Kelsey and Uncle Mike and I.
Playing in the water!
Grandma Sherri, Uncle Mike, Kelsey, and Aunt Nicole and I by the water.
It got a bit chilly, so I had to add a stocking hat! Kelsey helped keep me warm.

After visiting the Sunsphere and World's Fair Park, we walked to the Univ. of Tennessee and took a picture.

Mommy and I played at the kids playground. They didn't have any baby swings though, so we only got to go down the slide.
When we were there, Mommy got to meet one of her friends from her mommy group. Gracie and I got to play at the mall playground together while our mommy's talked.
Later on in the day I got to go back to the mall playground because it was really rainy outside and it was the only fun inside thing we could find to do! Playing with Kelsey.
And with Daddy.
And with Uncle Mike.
Trying to sneak into Grandma Sherri's purse.
Sucking my lip in -- Mommy and Daddy don't know what was up with that!

We went out to eat when we were there and I got to taste a lemon!I liked it, but it did make my lips pucker a bit!
I had so much fun in the water. The swimming pool water was freezing!! so I got to kick and splash in the hot tub instead. I had a great, great time!

One last picture before getting ready to drive home.
